U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn delivered remarks on the Senate floor where she voiced concerns about recent acts of violence against Tesla properties throughout the United States. The resolution she presented, which aimed to condemn these acts, was blocked by Senate Democrats.

Senator Blackburn characterized Tesla CEO Elon Musk as a "patriot" and praised his role in addressing national debt issues as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). She commended Musk's efforts, stating, "In just two months, they have discovered $130 billion in potential savings by eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse across the federal government," with hopes of reaching $2 trillion in savings by Independence Day next year.

According to Blackburn, Musk's contributions have made him a target of the radical Left, which has allegedly instigated a domestic terrorism campaign against Tesla. She cited several incidents, including the use of Molotov cocktails to set Tesla vehicles on fire in Las Vegas and a shooting at a Tesla dealership in Oregon.

The senator criticized the Democratic response, saying, "The Democrats spent the last four years denouncing domestic terrorism and supporting electric vehicles, yet now they are eerily silent." Citing statements by individuals such as Tim Walz and Jimmy Kimmel, she suggested that some Democrats appear to take satisfaction in Tesla's difficulties.

Blackburn called for a unanimous Senate resolution to jointly condemn the violence, arson, and domestic terrorism targeting Tesla, insisting, "There is absolutely no reason why Democrats should oppose this resolution."

Senate Democrats did not issue an immediate response to the blockage of the resolution.
