He criticized Trump's actions, stating, "Why can’t Trump play more golf rather than run his mouth and scare the business community and continue to inflame uncertainty in markets and wreck 401c’s. STFU"

On April 22, Cohen highlighted environmental concerns and criticized the Republican Party's approach to environmental regulations.
