WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive a $415,516 grant from the National Cancer Institute to study organotropic metastasis of breast cancer under the direction of Chemistry Professor Dr. Xiohua Huang.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“I am pleased to see the National Cancer Institute support breast cancer research at the University. I commend the University and Professor Huang for pursuing this research which will improve health outcomes and save lives.”
