U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee addressed the Senate regarding a recent report from the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference, which documents crimes committed by illegal aliens in Tennessee during the final months of the Biden-Harris administration. The report reveals that thousands of illegal aliens were charged with serious offenses, including driving under the influence, domestic and aggravated assault, child abuse, rape, vehicular homicide, and murder.

Senator Blackburn highlighted that since President Trump returned to office, there has been an 87% reduction in migrant encounters at the southern border due to his executive actions aimed at securing it. These actions include reinstating the Remain-in-Mexico policy, resuming border wall construction, ending catch-and-release practices, deploying troops to the border, and increasing deportations.

The senator pointed out that during former President Biden's term, over 10 million illegal aliens entered the U.S., including many convicted criminals. She emphasized that Tennesseans and Americans have faced consequences due to this influx.

The report from Tennessee indicates 2,719 cases involving illegal aliens charged or convicted of 3,854 offenses in just three months. Driving under the influence was noted as a common offense with 654 arrests. Additionally, hundreds of violent crimes were reported during this period.

Senator Blackburn underscored her legislative efforts with bills such as the Protect Our Communities From DUIs Act and others aimed at deporting criminal illegal aliens and providing states more authority to secure their borders. She also criticized far-left leaders for not cooperating with federal authorities on immigration enforcement.

The senator concluded by emphasizing the need for comprehensive measures to remove criminal illegal aliens from Tennessee and other states across America.
