U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee recently appeared on Newsmax's Newsline to discuss various political appointments and judicial nominations. In her conversation with Bianca de la Garza, Blackburn shared her views on potential replacements for Senators J.D. Vance of Ohio and Marco Rubio of Florida, President Trump's Cabinet picks, and the Biden administration's judicial nominees.

Regarding GOP Senate appointments, Blackburn expressed support for Vivek Ramaswamy in Ohio. She also mentioned Lara Trump as a favorable candidate for the Senate seat in Florida due to her work with the Republican National Committee. "I think she would be a fabulous Senator for the State of Florida," Blackburn stated.

In terms of Trump's Cabinet selections, Blackburn praised Susie Wiles as a "superb pick" and highlighted Kristi Noem's qualifications for the Department of Homeland Security. "Kristi Noem will be an excellent choice," she said, emphasizing Noem's focus on border protection and other national security issues.

Blackburn also addressed concerns about President Biden’s judicial nominees during his lame-duck period. She criticized what she termed as activist judges lacking experience on the bench: "We are going to do everything we can do to block them... there are individuals that are not qualified to sit on the federal bench."

The full interview with Senator Blackburn is available online.
