The University of Memphis baseball team fell to Charlotte after surrendering three runs in the ninth inning during their final regular season game on May 16. Despite strong offensive performances from several players, this loss sets up a rematch between these teams at next week’s American Conference Tournament.
James and Elful each claimed victories for Memphis at the American Conference Outdoor Championships, contributing to several top finishes and personal bests for their team. The qualifying athletes will move on to compete at the NCAA East Regional Championships later this month.
Gabriela Zych has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship after excelling academically and athletically at Memphis Tigers Rifle. The honor recognizes her leadership within both academics and sports during her collegiate career.
