Steve Cohen, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 9th district, has expressed his views on various topics through recent tweets. Cohen, who has served in Congress since 2007 after replacing Harold Ford Jr., has a background in law and politics with education from Vanderbilt University and the University of Memphis.

On February 14, 2025, Steve Cohen commented on JD Vance's remarks about Europe and free speech. He stated: "JD Vance lecturing Europe on free speech is not the power move he thinks it is. Europe lived through Nazism the Holocaust & communism—losing generations to tyranny. Now as they fight rising hate speech, he scolds them instead of standing with them."

The following day, February 15, 2025, Cohen shared his concerns about antisemitism on social media platforms. He remarked: "Surprisingly and disappointingly this is not an uncommon response to something I post on Twitter , X. There are more antisemites on this site than anywhere else in this country and Elon Musk condoned it and supports it." He further criticized Elon Musk for his perceived support of such behavior.

Later that same day, Cohen made another brief comment regarding antisemitism associated with Elon Musk by stating: "Another Musk anti-Semite".
