Steve Cohen, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 9th district since 2007, has shared his perspectives on various political matters through a series of tweets. Cohen, who succeeded Harold Ford Jr., has been vocal about international relations and domestic policy issues.

On February 13, 2025, Steve Cohen commented on former President Donald Trump's interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He remarked on the ongoing conflict involving Ukraine: "I’ll bet Trump was so balanced looking out for a fair peace deal while talking to Putin. Ukraine has proven their mettle on the battlefield and want peace but will standup to Putin and Trump for a fair and lasting peace."

Later that day, Cohen referenced an article from The New York Times with a critical tone towards Donald Trump and Pam Bondi: "https://t.co/kjEefnRLRj via @NYTimes//HONOR AND DEVOTION TO JUSTICE. THINGS TRUMP AND BONDI DONT KNOW"

In another tweet dated February 14, 2025, Cohen expressed concern over Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s role in national health policy. He stated: "RFK Jr. is now in charge of our nation’s health policy. A vaccine denier. A conspiracy peddler. A man who has spent years undermining public health and endangering lives. It's an outright betrayal of science and common sense." He criticized the Senate's decision as jeopardizing public health.
