Steve Cohen, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 9th district, shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets on February 14, 2025. Cohen has been serving in Congress since 2007 and previously served in the Tennessee Senate for two decades.

On February 14, 2025, Steve Cohen commented on developments within the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office: "Another star prosecutor at the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office has resigned, as a standoff escalated within the Justice Department over the criminal case against NYC Mayor Eric Adams//REPUBLICANS RESIGN IN FACE OF ILLEGALLY DISMISSING CORRUPTION CASE".

Later that day, he expressed personal offense regarding comments made by Donald Trump about Senator Mitch McConnell's experience with polio: "As someone who had polio, I take personal offense at Donald Trump questioning Senator McConnell’s experience with polio. Mitch McConnell HAD polio. Did anyone other than Trump‘s dad‘s doctor friend think he had bone spurs?".

Cohen also shared an opinion piece from The New York Times Opinion section criticizing Senate Republicans: "The sad and cowardly capitulation of the Senate Republicans".
