U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) has released a video message to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas. The attack, which occurred on October 7, resulted in the loss of more than 1,200 lives.

In her statement, Senator Blackburn emphasized the importance of remembering the events of that day and reiterated her support for Israel. She stated, "Today, on October 7, it is important for us to pause and to remember what happened one year ago today, and it is important for us to recommit ourselves in supporting Israel and making certain that Israel has what they need to protect themselves."

Senator Blackburn's comments align with previous actions she has taken alongside fellow senators Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio. Together with their colleagues, they have condemned Palestinian efforts targeting Israel at the United Nations and introduced a resolution opposing any action by the Biden Administration that would withhold ammunition or weapons from Israel.

The senator continues to advocate for strong U.S.-Israel relations and support for Israel's defense capabilities.
