U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn, Governor Bill Lee, Representative Diana Harshbarger, Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton, and Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) Director Patrick Sheehan visited East Tennessee to survey storm damage and meet with local officials.

“I am heartbroken by the devastating damage in East Tennessee caused by the horrific storm. Thank you to our first responders, Tennessee National Guard, TEMA, and the countless other agencies that have been working around the clock to rescue Tennesseans,” said Senator Blackburn.

Following the tour of the storm damage, Senator Blackburn led efforts to secure federal assistance for the affected areas. The entire Tennessee Congressional delegation supported this initiative.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has established a hotline for reporting missing persons during the ongoing East Tennessee flood emergency: 1-800-TBI-FIND.
