Congressman Cohen Announces $504,020 Brain Cancer Research Grant to UTHSC

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a $504,020 grant from the National Cancer Institute to study glioblastoma chemosensitivity.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“Understanding the chemistry of brain tumors will aid in successful therapies and ultimately save lives. I am pleased to see this important work supported by the National Cancer Institute at our Memphis medical school.”
