Lemoyne-Owen College Magicians Win Back To Back Games Over Lane And Kentucky State

After consecutive wins over Lane and Kentucky State, the LOC men's basketball team is now 14-7 overall and 9-4 in SIAC play.

These last two victories leave the Magicians in second place in the SIAC conference standings. The Magicians have 7 games remaining in their season before the conference tournament which will be played at Savannah State University.

The Magicians defeated Lane by a score of 61-58 and were led in scoring by senior guard Andrew Anderson who scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds to go along with 4 assists. Also in double figures was junior guard Gjerard Wilson with 10 points. 

Less than 72 hours later the Magicians would travel to Kentucky State University. The Magicians defeated KSU 74-71 and have defeated the Thoroughbreds in each of their last 3 meetings. The Magicians were led in scoring by junior guard Gjerard Wilson who scored 15 points in the ball game. Junior forward Christian Wells was also in double figures with 13 points to go along with 7 rebounds.
