The LOC women's basketball team picked up their second consecutive win Monday evening, at home against Harris Stowe.
The two teams went back in forth for most of the game until the Lady Magicians were able to take control midway through the third quarter. In the third LOC outscored Harris Stowe 21-16, giving them 47-39 lead heading into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the team gave up just eight points on their way to a 58-47 victory.
The Lady Magicians had a season high four players in double figures led by 6'0 forward Kamryn Knight. Knight picked up her third double of the season scoring 15 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Also in double figures for the Lady Magicians was Jayla Fuller(12) Jess Myers(10) and Nairobi Lewis(10).
The Lady Magicians return to action Saturday December 17th at home, where they will be looking for their third consecutive win. The team will be hosting Clark-Atlanta University, the game I scheduled to start at 1:00pm.
