For the second consecutive season the LOC women's basketball went on the road and defeated Tougaloo College.
The Lady Magicians scored 68 points tallying their highest point total of the season. The team got a career high from juco transfer Sierra Lynch who scored 31 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lynch is currently leading theLady Magicians in scoring with 13ppg.
The team followed their trend of being in close games and trailed 63-61 with 2:39 seconds remaining in the ball game. Lynch would give the team a 67-65 lead that would be followed by a free throw just seconds later. That free throw would seal the deal, giving the Lady Magicians their third win of the season.
Junior transfer Nairobi Lewis also scored in double figures for the Lady Magicians picking up her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
