Former Christian Brothers University men's basketball player Opong Bramble has signed a professional contract with Swedish team Ockelbo Basket.
Bramble spent the 2021-22 season at CBU, appearing in 26 games with five starts. The Kingstown, St. Vincent native averaged 4.3 points and 4 rebounds per contest. Bramble had a season-high 12 points against Montevallo (1.8.22), and a season-best 11 boards against Auburn Montgomery (1.6.22).
Since joining Ockelbo, Bramble has averaged 19.6 points and 13.2 rebounds per contest, including a 20 point, 13 rebound effort against Eskilstuna on Nov. 12.
