In their third consecutive AAC win, the Memphis Tiger offense shined as they cruised to a 5-2 win over Tulsa.
After today's game, Memphis moves to 7-4-4 for the season and 3-1-3 in American Athletic Conference play.
KEY MOMENTS
- Momo Nakao got the ball rolling in the 26' when she found Saorla Miller in the box for the early 1-0 lead.
- The Tigers would get a goal from Eef Kerkhof in the 54' off an assist from Miller.
- After Tulsa scored just two minutes later, it would the duo of Kerkhof and Miller again, this time Kerkhof finding Miller open in the box for the 3-1 lead with 35 minutes left in the match.
- The Golden Hurricane would pick up their second goal of the half in the 64', but Memphis would seal the deal after Jocelyn Alonzo and Momo Nakao scored back-to-back insurance goals for the 5-2 win.
