Lemoyne-Owen College Lady Magicians Look To Stay Undefeated At Home

The LeMoyne-Owen College women's volleyball team has had their fair share of struggles this season. The Lady Magicians begin the season 0-7 with early non- conference losses to Harding University, Kentucky Wesleyan, Crowley Ridge College and East Central University.

On September 13th the Lady Magicians would pick up a home victory and their first win of the season vs. Tougaloo College. The team put on an absolute clinic and swept the Lady Bulldogs in 3 sets.

Since the win over Tougaloo College, the team is currently on a eight game losing streak. Overall the team has a 1-15 record and are winless in SIAC play. The Lady Magicians dropped their first two conference games on the road at Allen University and Benedict College. This past weekend they went 0-5 in the SIAC cluster in Collierville, GA.

The ladies will look to protect their home court tomorrow when they take on Crowley Ridge College for the second time this season. The Lady Magicians will be depending on teamwork and home court advantage to help get them the win Thursday evening. "It's Throwback Thursday night and it should be a fun environment, we're looking forward to competing," said head coach Reginald Morris.
