The University of Memphis to Host Memphis Area FAFSA Challenge

In an effort to support Memphis-Shelby County Schools’ FAFSA completion efforts and coincide with the State’s Early Post-Secondary Opportunities requirement, the University of Memphis is partnering with Southwest Tennessee Community College, Tennessee College of Applied Technology and Tennessee State Collaborative on Reforming Education (TN SCORE) to host an event for students and families to learn more about the college admissions and financial aid processes.

The event will be Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. in UofM’s Rose Theatre.

Guests will be informed about important admission and financial aid deadlines, learn helpful tips to reduce FAFSA submission errors and have the opportunity to ask questions of admission and financial aid experts from three institutions. The UofM will provide free parking and light appetizers and giveaways will be provided by TN SCORE.

The collective goal is to help develop and retain the talent in Memphis.
