Graduates earn 31 degrees, certificates from Visible Music College

About 64.5 percent of the 31 degrees and certificates handed out by Visible Music College in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Memphis conferred 14 bachelor's degrees and 6 certificates in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general music performance. Data shows the school gave out 11 bachelor's degrees in general music performance, followed by 8 bachelor's degrees in digital communication and media/multimedia and 6 certificates in general music performance.

The college enrolled 172 students for 2017-18, including 165 in undergraduate programs and 7 in graduate programs.
