Graduates earn 64 degrees from Memphis College of Art

About 96.9 percent of the 64 degrees and certificates handed out by Memphis College of Art in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Memphis conferred 58 bachelor's degrees and 4 master's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general fine/studio arts. Data shows the school gave out 14 bachelor's degrees in general fine/studio arts, followed by 12 bachelor's degrees in illustration and 8 bachelor's degrees in game and interactive media design.

The college enrolled 116 students for 2017-18, including 111 in undergraduate programs and 5 in graduate programs.
