93 percent of applicants to Le Moyne-Owen College were admitted for fall 2018

At Le Moyne-Owen College, 69 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 69 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Memphis enrolled 885 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 12.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

84 percent of undergraduates are residents of Tennessee, and 15 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (98 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 419 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 40 percent enrolled.
