56 percent of applicants to Christian Brothers University were admitted for fall 2018

At Christian Brothers University, 87 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Memphis enrolled 2,034 students in fall 2018, including 1,736 in undergraduate and 298 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

70 percent of undergraduates are residents of Tennessee, and 27 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (33 percent) and Black or African American (28 percent).

The school admitted 56 percent of the 2,810 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 25 percent enrolled.
