On Saturday, March 22, former First Assembly Christian School standout Sam Thomas’ current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Alabama Tigers.
The game took place at Tartt Field. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field against Southern Arkansas Muleriders.
