On Saturday, Feb. 22, former First Assembly Christian School standout Sam Thomas’ current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, won 12-11 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Union Bulldogs.

The game took place at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11:40 a.m. at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field against Union Bulldogs.
