On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Overton High School standout Sam Mast’s current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.
The game took place at Bob Stein Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Nighthawks this season.
The Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 12 p.m. at Larry Carpenter Stadium at Olympic Field against Lee Flames.
