On Sunday, March 16, former First Assembly Christian School standout Sam Thomas’ current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.

The game took place at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field. This was their third matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field against Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys.
