The University of Memphis men’s golf team will travel to Sarasota, Florida, for the American Conference Championships at The Ritz-Carlton Members Club starting Monday, April 27.
The tournament is a three-day event with one round played each day. The final round will be streamed on ESPN+, and fans can follow a live leaderboard online. This competition follows the team’s recent appearance at the Mossy Oak Collegiate, where Memphis finished in 11th place and its top individual golfer posted a score of six-over par for a 40th-place finish.
Last year, the Tigers secured fourth place at the conference championship by finishing 18-under par. Two players were instrumental in that performance, both tying for 15th individually.
This year’s field includes teams from Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Tulane, Tulsa, South Florida, UAB, UTSA and Wichita State along with Memphis. The format is stroke play over 54 holes.
