The University of Memphis Athletics Department announced on Apr. 16 that the Memphis Football Spring Fest, which was scheduled for Saturday, April 18, has been postponed because of a forecast of inclement weather in the Memphis area.

The event, presented by FedEx, was originally set to take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday. It will now be rescheduled to a date prior to the start of the 2026 football season. The department said that more details about the fan event will be shared at a later time.

All events and activities associated with Spring Fest have also been postponed as part of this decision. Despite these changes, the Memphis football program will still conclude its spring season with a final practice at the Billy J. Murphy Athletic Complex on Saturday; however, this practice will not be open to the public.

The Athletics Department encouraged fans to stay updated by following official channels for future announcements regarding rescheduling and additional information about team activities.
