On Friday, April 11, former First Assembly Christian School standout Sam Thomas’ current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.

The game took place at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field. This was their first matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field against Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.
